Hospice Care

Hospice Services are recommended when curative treatment is no longer effective or desired by the patient. It is not, however, a lack of treatment. The focus of treatment simply becomes one of comfort instead of cure.

Cameron's program provides compassionate medical and personal care to support terminally ill patients and their families. We recognize this is a difficult time for patents and families because they are unsure what to expect or what steps to take next. We want to help patient's and their families navigate this part of life's journey.

Hospice Care is provided through a team approach led by the medical director and in conjunction with a client's personal physician. It begins and ends with the patient. Our specially trained staff visits with the patient and family to determine what goal and preferences they may have and build our plan around them. We are able to provide patients and families nursing and nursing assistance, social worker, chaplain, physical, occupational and speech therapy, dietary consult, pharmacy consult and volunteers.

Whether people have some or all services, the goal is the same: to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support to both patient and family. We strive to provide the quality of life when the quantity may be limited.
